I am disclosing this because the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires it (16 CFR Part 255), and because a cost-comparison site that hides its commercial relationships is not worth reading.

What This Means for You

  • Commissions never change the numbers. Every price, renewal fee, and TCO figure in my cost tables comes from the vendor’s own pricing page or my recorded pricing data — not from a commercial relationship. If a platform has hidden fees or punishing renewal terms, I say so whether or not it pays a commission.
  • Affiliate links are labeled. Links that route through my own redirect path are marked rel="sponsored". You can always ignore them and go to the official site directly.
  • I do not accept paid placements. No platform can pay to rank higher in my comparison tables, calculators, or review order.
  • Editorial judgment is not for sale. A tool earns a recommendation on pricing transparency, fit, and verifiable facts. A tool loses one on the same grounds.

Affiliate links on this site are marked with the rel="sponsored" attribute, and any page that contains them carries a short disclosure line near the recommendation. If a link is not marked, treat it as an ordinary link.

Editorial Independence

My analysis separates three things that are often blurred together:

  1. Vendor-published facts — list prices, plan names, and renewal terms taken from official pages.
  2. My recorded observations — what I measured or verified myself, with the date recorded.
  3. Estimates and assumptions — clearly flagged as such, never presented as vendor guarantees.

Where I could not verify a figure, I say so instead of guessing.
